Who is this program for?
It is built for students in medical and allied health streams who want structured clinical neurology exposure alongside their degree:

How long is the program?
Four weeks. The syllabus is organised into four themed weeks, each building on the one before.
Are sessions live or recorded?
Both. The program runs in a hybrid format — live sessions for teaching, discussion and demonstrations, plus recorded modules you can revisit at your own pace.
Do I need prior neurology experience?
No. Week 1 starts from foundations — neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and how neurological symptoms present clinically — before the syllabus moves into disorders and diagnostics. What helps is a working familiarity with basic human anatomy and physiology from your own course.
What does each week cover?
- Week 1 — Foundations of Clinical Neurology: introduction to neurology, neuroanatomy essentials, neurophysiology, and how common neurological symptoms present.
- Week 2 — Neurological Disorders: cerebrovascular disorders, epilepsy and seizure disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, and neuroimmunology and neuromuscular disorders.
- Week 3 — Examination & Diagnostics: the structured neurological examination, neurodiagnostic tools, clinical decision making, and neuropharmacology.
- Week 4 — Advanced Neurology, Research & Career: neurorehabilitation, emerging trends, neurology research skills, and career development.
Are there practical sessions, or is it only theory?
There are dedicated practical activities in each of the first three weeks, including a brain anatomy lab using 3D models, cranial nerve identification, symptom localisation exercises, MRI case interpretation, clinical case discussions, a neurological examination demonstration, an MRI and CT interpretation workshop, and EEG reading basics. Each of those weeks also closes with a quiz so you can check your own understanding.
Is there a final project?
Yes. The program closes with a capstone project, and you choose one of six options: a stroke case analysis, a Parkinson's disease case review, an EEG interpretation presentation, a neurorehabilitation plan, a neurological research proposal, or a neurology awareness campaign.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes — on completion you receive a certificate that can be checked online through our certificate verification page, so anyone you share it with can confirm it is genuine.
